The "Fleur du Jardin" Hotel , contrary to its literal translation is not "The flower of the Garden" but a breed of internationally acclaimed Guernsey cows !! The Fleur du Jardin xii was a breeding cow of some repute and the hotel would like to think that it has maintained that reputation, be it now of culinary hospitality and an envied quality of product.

The hotel offers a relexed and informal atmosphere with a hint of the unusual. Many of the rooms have undergone a stylish renovation programme (bleached timber walls and wet rooms). Whilst striving to maintain its Island heritage the owners have also recognised the need to create a thing of unique design innovation, gained from years of travelling the world and experiencing different design cultures.

The "Fleur" now offers a building of unique old charm with a sprinkling of contemporary seasoning.

Situated minutes from sandy Vazon Bay yet only 8 minutes drive into the old town of St Peter Port. The Fleur du Jardin has beautifully tended and scheduled gardens with a large solar heated swimming pool.

Open all year, it is renowned amongst locals and visitors alike for high standards of comfort and service as well as excellent cuisine. The menus offer a constantly changing selection of fresh local fish and seafood along with game in season.
