Taste Guernsey Food Festival is a month-long event that takes place in April. It involves a competition organised by Guernsey Hospitality Association, which reviews local chef’s culinary skills. Restaurant participants serve up a menu that has en emphasis on local produce, from fresh seafood to marvellous dairy products. If you plan visiting Guernsey during this time of the year, you’ll have the chance to vote for your favourite dish.

Another food festival that can’t be missed is Tennerfest. Every year, throughout October until mid-November, restaurants encourage tourists and locals alike to sample local cuisine and try new eateries at lower prices. One, two or three-course set menus start from £10 per person.
