Luxurious and cosy, La Sablonnerie Hotel offers a haven of peace in the Channel Islands' most remarkable island. As your private horse-drawn carriage takes you to the hotel, you'll appreciate the beauty of 'Little Sark', separate to the main island of Sark.
La Sablonnerie provides accommodation set in a 400-year-old farmhouse where homely comforts and modern amenities go hand in hand. In the owners' own words: 'La Sablonnerie is geared to recharge the human spirit'.
B&B: from £140 per person per night (low season) and from £150 per person per night (high season)
All the rooms have been discreetly renovated over the years and offer peace and comfort.
The restaurant has a fantastic local reputation. It serves local seafood, crab, lobster, scallops and many fish dishes, as well as delicious home-grown beef.
The gardens provide a beautiful al fresco set-up.
Due to the geographic position and the age of the building, La Sablonnerie is not suitable for wheelchair access.
Sark's uniqueness doesn't stop at being car free; the island's is so small that you can walk around it in a day, discovering the beautiful flora as you go. Alternatively hire a bike or take a horse-drawn carriage tour.
Dogs are accepted in some cottages on a request basis at no additional charge. Dogs are not permitted in the main hotel.
