Rooms

There is a selection of Cosy Double Rooms or Classic King/Twin Rooms, Poolside Deluxe King or Twin Rooms and one Suite.

The Cosy Double rooms have a double bed, some rooms have walk in shower and some rooms have bath with shower attachment, bathrobes, slippers.

The Classic King or Twin rooms have a king size or twin beds, some rooms have walk in shower and some rooms have bath with shower attachment, bathrobes, slippers.

The Poolside Deluxe Rooms are set in a block separate to the hotel and this block is accessible by 8 steps. These Poolside Deluxe King or Twin room have a large king size bed or twin beds, luxury bathroom with bath and separate shower, bathrobes and slippers, occasional table and chairs and air conditioning. The rooms on the lower floor of the block have an outdoor terrace and those rooms on the first floor have a balcony.

The Two Room Suite boasts a large king size double bed or twin beds, luxury walk in shower room with bathrobes and slippers, occasional table and chairs and air conditioning. The hotel suite overlooks the pool and has the benefit of a separate lounge and balcony.

All rooms are en-suite and equipped with television, radio alarm, direct-dial telephone, central heating, hairdryer and tea & coffee facilities.

Dining & Bars

The hotel restaurant serves award winning cuisine with fantastic daily changing menus, à la carte options and of course local seafood specialities. Attention is given to all details from presentation to service but the atmosphere, is still relaxed and informal.

The bar is open daily for light lunches and afternoon teas and food can be carried outside on the terrace when the sun shines.

Location

You don’t have to be a walker to enjoy staying at La Barbarie but for those of you who are, the opportunities from the hotel’s door are just endless. Discover “Les Ruettes Tranquilles”, Guernsey country lanes where priority is given to walkers, cyclists and horse riders, or enjoy spectacular views from the cliff paths with new vistas at every turn.

Accessibility

La Barbarie is suitable for people with restricted mobility as there are no steps on the ground floor and there is a ramp from the terrace to the pool. There are no lifts. Some ground floor rooms are available with walk in showers.
