Catherine Best is a jewellery designer - Fellow of the Institute of Professional Goldsmiths since 2012 - whose creations have now reached far beyond Guernsey's shores and gained international fame. Her studio, workshop and home are located on the island though and are a must visit. The jewellery here is for purchase but should also be considered as pieces of art and admired as such. Catherine Best works with beautiful gemstones and can produce anything from a simple wedding ring to incredibly intricate pieces which she refers to as 'High Jewellery'.

The Old Mill

Her choice of premises, The Old Mill in the parish of St. Martin is a tribute to her genuine love for Guernsey. The traditional, calm and beautiful granite setting is still a strong source of inspiration, a heaven of peace which she loves sharing with her family and her customers.
