About the Festival

The Guernsey Literary Festival has established itself to be one of the biggest annual arts events in the Channel Islands, across the 2 week span there will be numerous different events.

Events are across a number of venues, including St James, Les Cotils, The Guille Alles Library, the OGH & St. Pierre Park Hotel and features both international and local writers and speakers.

What's in store for the 2024 .... acclaimed authors from near and far have begun their preparations to make their way to Guernsey and to entertain us all. Foodies may be interested n hearing from celebrated chef and author Michael Roux. Sports enthusiasts might want to see footballer Pat Nevin or hear from the UK's best know voice of cycling, Ned Boulting. With dedicated workshops, poetry readings and family events, there is sure to be an event that will be of interest to you!
