The newly designed course will incorporate some of Guernsey's most iconic landmarks and take runners through some of the Island's most scenic areas on the beautiful coast of Guernsey. The clockwise course starts and finishes on the South Esplanade car park, St. Peter Port and will also be where the marathon village will be located. There will be a fantastic atmosphere here and all runners can expect a roaring reception as they complete the course.
The race, which is split into three categories, Marathon, Mourant Relay Race and Fun Run, regularly attracts a variety of runners from elite & semi-professional athletes competing for the top prizes, to friends & colleagues taking part as a team in the in the relay, to families having fun whilst raising money for their chosen charity.
With a professional yet friendly atmosphere the event welcomes a variety of runner types, elite athletes compete for prize money and times, while corporate teams vie for the prestige of winning the trophy and many others compete to do something truly amazing for the benefit of others.
