Celebrating more than 100 years, the West United Agricultural & Horticultural Society Show is a major event in Guernsey's summer calendar. The West Show is a traditional country show with horse events, animal competitions and tented competitions. The western parishes of Torteval, St. Pierre du Bois and St. Saviour get together to celebrate, compete and showcase life in rural Guernsey.
The entertainment programme includes motorcycles stunts, bouncy castles, live music in the Beer Tent and fairground attractions amongst many others - perfect to entertain everyone in the family.
The show takes place at l'Eree Aerodrome, located between Perelle Bay and Roquaine Bay.
The Imperial Hotel is situated on Guernsey's south-west corner, surrounded by sandy beaches, blue seas and extensive cliffpath walks.
Rocquaine Bay Apartments are situated on a quiet country lane and within easy reach of many quiet coastal walks.
La Grande Mare Hotel, Golf and Country Club is situated on the west coast of Guernsey and sits within 120 acres of private grounds. There is an 18-hole golf course, woodlands and gardens.
The Guernsey North Show and Battle of Flowers has been one of the main outdoor events in Guernsey’s summer calendar for many years.
Organised by the National Trust of Guernsey, Lé Viaër Marchi or ‘The Old Market’ is a fun evening of traditional Guernsey food and entertainment.
The longest running of the three main summer shows, the South Show is the perfect showcase for islanders to share their growing, baking and artistic talents and offers excellent value family fun.
